Not suitable for wet areas or where flooding is possible
Wood Baseboards

Better choice for high-end finishes

Which Should You Choose?
MDF is a great choice for most painted baseboards in dry areas and offers excellent value.
Wood is the better option for high-traffic areas, stained finishes, or spaces where durability and moisture resistance are important.
For most residential renovations with painted trim, MDF is the most cost-effective option. For premium projects or stained trim, wood is usually worth the extra cost.
